- Presenting snapshots of the content of some of its 26 chapters
- Providing a chance to meet with authors/reviewers and to ask specific questions
How do we want to achieve it?
The event is thought as an interactive session that brings the opportunity to meet with key microinsurance stakeholders, to dialogue in small groups around specific topics and to network with peers. By attending, participants will get an overview of the major trends of the microinsurance sector and have the possibility to interact with some authors in 'Questions corners'. We'll end the event with a cocktail so as to continue exchanging in an informal way.
For those of you who cannot attend physically, we'll organize a Webcast to share with you the plenary and we'll set up for onliners a special Q&A session with the authors.
What will be covered in the launch?
Presentation on microinsurance trends: Craig Churchill (ILO Microinsurance Innovation Facility) will give an overview of the main trends of the sector, explain briefly what, in the microinsurance landscape, has changed in the last five years and what are the challenges to be tackled to cover more low-income people with quality and affordable products.

Question corners: The audience in Geneva will break up into eight ‘Question corners’ to meet with the Compendium’s authors. We encourage participants to ask specific questions and exchange with peers on their experiences. Some people might wander between several groups to ask their questions or network in the middle of the room.
