Project Description: 

In Cameroon's rural areas, poor people do not have access to high quality health care services due to their limited financial capacity. Community-based insurance are one strategy to increase access to health care and alleviate poverty. The objective of the study is to assess the willingness of rural households to pay for health insurance. Using self-collected household data, this study will contribute to a greater understanding of what motivates clients in their purchasing decisions.
